Chapter 2 - David

My family use to be the happiest family around. My brothers and I had the perfect parents, my mother loved all her children and would have done anything for us. Holidays were the best around our house, Halloween mother would always give each of us a matchbox car. The day after Thanksgiving mother would disappear to the basement to get all of the Christmas decorations to fill the whole house. Christmas day was the best as all of us opened our brand new toys. Mother also took my brothers and me on day trips to Golden Gate Park, were we had picnics and just spent the whole day today. I had the best life, what more could I have asked for?

Chapter 1 - David

I'm trying to finish my chores before school so I will be able to eat breakfast today, but of course I did one thing wrong and I got punished for it. Mother smacks me in the face all because i lifted a hand out of the dish water, but i take it just to eat. I'm late to school because mother held me in the car longer to talk to me to tell me to remember i ran into the door. I go to the office to check in and I'm immediately taken into the nurses office for my daily check. This time it is different though because i am drug into the principles office where there is a police officer who is asking me lots of questions. None of them understand what will happen to me if this happens and my mother finds out. The police officer takes me to the police station, he asks me a bunch of questions and I had to be honest. The next thing I know he is calling mother to tell her I will not be coming home today.
